alright i got a 97 accord ex, i got a 97+ jdm h22a. people tell me that i can run my accord obd2 with the motor, but they say it would run like ***, but it would still work. then i hear that the obd2 ecu from the prelude wont run with the secondary when its in my accord......what ecu should i go with? i heard the skunk 2 was pretty good. but i dont want just good i want it to run mint. osme say i should get an obd 1 and use a jumper harness? so what should i run for my ecu???

Did you see what i said here?? https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=355558 I wouldn't go with a whole SK2 ECU if that's what you're talkin about... Maybe just a prog for one of your ECU's.... There should be nothing wrong with your IAB's not opening up as long as you have everything wired correctly... Peace

AEM EMS. Pricey, but great for tuning.

Kenji ECU. He's on this board.

Hondata. They're here too.

Or, would a US Prelude ECU work?

Yes, a US Prelude ECU will work, and your best bet will be to find a 96 H22 ECU since it doesn't have the immobilizer in it. I've seen people disable the immobilizer so it can be done... I have some schematics that show how to do it so as soon a I get ahold of an OBD-2 ECU, I'll play with that.

Otherwise, for or more ECU info running with H22 motors (OBD-1 ECUs), check out what I (and some others) had to say: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=358694
