If the check engine light is coming on then it should store the code in memory. I would jump the test harness and see what code is coming up.

Should I highlight that for you?

The ecu stores the code once the cel comes on.The cel doesn't have to be on in order to pull a code.So pull the code and find the answer......easy as 1-2-3

well since i dont know much about cars, i guess i wouldnt know the code is stored, which is probably why i was asking a question, instead of deciphering it for myself that it stores a code. so if u were just gonna be a **** about it, whyd u even post? thanks to everyone else who helped though, i appreciate it, and thanks to the guy who posted the pictures up.
