Default ECU Code

I just wanted to know what is the code for a 93 h22a1 motor. My cousin has it in his car. The ecu say p13. But it redlines at 6500. Isn't it supposed to be 7500?
Thanks

You probably have a US spec ECU if it redlines at 68 thousand
My JDM h22 does the same thing, I'm just gonna chip the ECU.

I have another problem w/ the car. The check engine light is on and when i try to jump the code from the ecu the light just stays on without flashing. What could cause this problem?
And is 6800 the redline on us spec h22's? i thought it was 7500..let me know what you think.
Thanks for the replys.

Are you sure you're jumping it right? you should be redlining at 7500 rpms

no i did not fix the problem yet. It's my friend's car and he told me he's not feeling vtec. How do you check the solonoid since the ecu is not letting me jump the codes?

no, the redline is not 6500. the ECU limits your revs to 6500RPM because there is something wrong. any time you have a check engine light, the ECU will do this as a safety feature. not all codes though. but yeah, as soon as you fix the problem and reset the ECU it will go back to normal.
