Default ECU codes?

For those that have JDM swaps how do you check the ecu codes? When we tried to link it up it read "link error" for us? The motor that was swapped in was the B16A2 (JDM).

If you're trying to use an OBD2 scantool with a JDM ECU, it'll never work.

I really don't think there is a way for JDM but IDK. I doubt it will work but you can try jumping it?!?!!

Exactly - you can always jump the service connector to get the CEL to blink the codes at you.
