does anybody know about dropzone coilovers? i found them in adjustables on ebay for $100. i really dont care too much about handling as long as it looks good and rides half way decent. also will i have to get new shocks right away when i put in my h22?
it was a 2001 so it didnt have many miles, and he slammed it. BUT in perspective, my 94 has 115k, i slammed mine with some $70 ebay coilovers witch are GC lookalikes, and i have NO bouncing at all with stock shocks, im amazed.

Drop zones are crap. Friend of mines has them on his 95 ex coupe. Poor quality. Poor ride. Cambers like a bitch w/ 2 finger wheel gap. Horrible. Save more money and get what you pay for.

we installed my brother dropzones last week and they suck. bad ride on stock shocks. we then swapped the dropzones out the next day for the lowering springs in his "garage sitting" crx... the R1 coillovers in my crx feel better than dropzones

some of you guys are friggin retarded. im tired of people dissin springs because they" bounce alot ". its cuz the rates are to high and the shocks are to soft.
retards huh? no i just say its poor quality.. if you want coilovers, get ground controls. my bro had the dropzones in his 88-91 hatch, with stock shocks and the ride sucked.. i have R1 coilovers, same rate, stock shocks, except i blast my shocks over bumps because i work at pizza hut, and my ride is still better....!
i just dont get how its possible for two springs with the same rate to perform differently. maybe the kid wit the dropzones had blown shocks. ya never know

no they arent blown shocks,we swapped out the coilovers for the springs in his crx, suspention technique, and the ride is good.
if you do the struts too DZ's are GREAT! i have them on mine and it's almost as smooth as stock suspention. I wouldn't buy anything else from here on out they ride that well and before that i had neuspeed springs and on my old civic i had skunk2 Co's so DZ's are better than both
I just bought some dropzones today, hope after I install them, it won't be a harsh ride, but then again, I don't plan on slaming them all the way to the ground.
I remember when I rode with blown rear shocks, the ride was terrible and way bouncy, but after I replaced the shocks the ride was perfect, this was with neuspeed race springs in a 93 civic coupe. And on my crx I had good shocks, but when I slammed my no name coilovers they were bouncy and when I raised it to a 2 1/2" drop (estimate) it rode like regular race springs.
Usually the lower you go, the more you bounce and people that just slam their ride are usually going to be dissappointed in the ride quality becuase it's just not a good idea for a comfortable ride with stock shocks or any type of shocks when slammed 4" or over.
