Default dpfi to mpfi in a 89 hatchback???

im doin this dpfi to mpfi wiring conversion in a 1989 dx hatchback. im not quite sure y i have so many extra plugs.

ok... so heres the deal... i dropped in a d16a6 with si harness. there are three plugs that dont match up to anything. two on the right side of the engine bay and one on the left side of the engine bay.

do i need to use a dx harness to do this conversion or is there some way to make this work?

here are the pics...

left side...

right side...

any help will be greatly appreciated.

You should have three extra plugs left over after you are done the swap. two of them are the old DPFI injector plugs, and the other one is for the tandem vavle for the DPFI system, which you do not use on the MPFI system, you can either just cut it off, or tuck it away somewhere.

I googled Dpfi to mpfi and this was from the very first result: http://www.angelfire.com/d20/h....html

so using the si wiring harness isnt a good idea? because i dont have a dx harness. hmmm.. and the plugs they show arent the plugs that i have left over. if u look in the last two pics... there is a big plug left over that has like 9 wires connected to it. its wierd.
