Default Double swap question

I plan on doing a GSR swap into my 98 hatch. What I was wondering
was i have a 88 dx hatch that I drive in the winter, does anyone
know if my d16 is any sort of bolt in swap into my 88 beater?
50k miles would be alot beter than the 150k,rather than just
have the motor sit in my garage.

thanx for any input

Yes it will bolt in. I have a 00 D16Y7 in my 89 DX hatch winter beater. You'll need to replace the driver's side mount bracket from the 98 motor with the one on the 88 and then reuse the 88 mount. To keep it simple, just reuse the DPFI manifold from the 88 and it will be a really easy swap. If you need any help let me know.
