Default Doing a swap is it worht it to put a more performant clutch

I'm swapping a RS motor into my 1996 Hatch, and I've wondering, is it worht it to put a performance clutch if I'm only really going to be using the car for daily drive and some track action? The motor is basically stock, I've add some high compression pistons. Will I see a large difference from say an excedy or Neuspeed N2 clutch? Will a stock RS clutch work fine? Also would an ITR clutch work on this tranny?

thanks.

If your gonna put a new clutch in there and plan on taking it to the track, then yeah definetely throw a new clutch in there. Even if you dont track it that much, stock clutches suck anyways. If i were you i'd get an ACT Heavy Duty pressure plate with a street/strip disc. Easy pedal pressure good gripping and will last u a while too.

you said it all right there buddy, if you want some good times, your going to want to keep tire spin to a minimum. Get yourself a clutch.

ITR clutch would be a great idea, or an act stage 1.

It's definitely worth it to go with a performance clutch. If you've got some extra $ to spend then a lightweight flywheel would be nice too. You'd benefit from an ACT stage I or similar clutch kit.
