the kit we got was a RIP OFF at $850, a COMPLETE rip off

the mounts are poorly made, the instructions weren't even included, the fit of the kit is horrible, and...the price is ******* stupid. i wouldn't have paid the price myself..but a friend did. i feel bad for him.

in all honesty...i could take the plate and have it milled for next to nothing..and fab up the mounts for next to nothing too...the kit, in whole, is worth about $300 imho

$300.....? small block adapter kits cost more and most are just a plate.

I know R&D is worth nothing to you but $300 is way off .........maybe you don't have the experience developing and manufacturing product to make an educuacted guess. Maybe your time is worth nothing too?

Not one bolt hole or mount was off more than a **** hair on this kit.

The instructions are available and have been.

i know you're all about them...and that's cool. but i thought the kit was pitiful for the price. ok...$300 WAS a bit out of left feild...but $850 is crazy. i'm waiting till kits down to around $400-500 before i buy...if i don't just have my own plate cut here soon. the moutns would be cake to make, as would a spacer for the slave cylinder

Don't forget about all the custom hardware and the spacer.

Trying to find someone to develop drawings/CNC program for half the price of the QS kit would be damn near impossible. I looked into developing a similar kit a couple years ago and felt it was too much work and money. I spent more money on my cams then this hole kit and saw twice the improvement over the cams at the track.

4 tenths and 5mph for $850 is cheap!!!!

It can't get anymore obvious than that.

the plate would cost me around $50... the local college just picked up a 5 axis mill and some other stuff of the sort, and are always looking for alumni to come in with a project for them to work on. all i'd have to buy would be a big chunk of aluminum

but, i'm not even going to run an h22 anymore...prob sell all my h22 parts...i'm going back to mustangs i guess, with drag season here and all.
