doesnt anybody know about the b16a1?????
why can nobody tell me how to get a gasket for my engine,i need the gasket for vtec controller,top under sylonoid its square w/filter screen in it help help help.

theres already a thread on this. I think one of the vtec solenoid gasket part numbers is 15825-p08-005. Thats for the one between the head and the solenoid. If you need the other one, which you would only need if you took the solenoid apart (never do that unless it leaks!) I really dont know but it is the same as a 92-93 GSR or 94 delsol vtec.
I just remembered that I have an extra solenoid assembly with that gasket still inside it. Its never been opened. Its froma b16a1. if you want it make me an offer.

I think I remember reading somewhere that the first gen B16A's had a different shaped mount for the VTEC solenoid and the only thing you could do is replace it with a newer VTEC solenoid and gasket. Unless of course you have a hook up for Japanese Honda OEM stuff.

They are all the same from 88-01.
88-91 has a bigger solenoid but they all bolt up correctly.

from what i have heard they all bolt on correctly and everything fits but if the gasket goes bad on th efirst gen ones you are pretty much screwed unless you can get a OEM japanese hook up.
yep thats the one i need in pic above but that part # is the wrong one i got it already and it doesnt fit correctly and leaks like crazy.so i can get a new top controller and it should work?if so o will get one for del sol vtec thanks everyone
I think you can replace the whole vtec solenoid and pressure switch assembly. They could all be the same bolt pattern. Thats an expensive part from the dealer tho
