I got a 1st gen b16 in my crx that was installed by a well known shop.Ive had the motor in my car for a little over a year with no problems except for the vtec seal (gasket with a small screen attached to vtec housing). I have had to replace this gasket 4 times.Does anyone have any suggestions?

vtec solenoid seal that is. rty a little bit of hondabond/rtv sealant from a local parts store. not a lot though

 

I tried that the last 2 times it last a bit longer but the seal still keeps breakin...any other suggestions??

LOL....seriously
It's not cuz its not tighten.The actual gasket keeps breaking above the small metal screen/filter any other suggestions???
