DIY LS-V Kit
So Ive been tossing around the idea of LSV kits. Golden Eagle makes a kit that makes this process as simple as 1..2..3 But not everyone has the ablilty to pay $200+ for just the kit and gasket. Not to mention another $160+ on ARP head studs and rod bolts. *I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GETTING ARP STUDS AND BOLTS FOR ALL LSV BUILDS!!!!*
SO here is my idea of my own homemade LSV kits minus the gasket:
-Male -6an to Male 1/8 NPT Fitting
-Male -6an to Male 3/8 NPT Fitting
-2FT. Stainless Steel Line -6an Female fittings
-Golden Eagle LSV dowel pins
I have 2 possible places I can run the oil supply line from.
1) Oil pressure sensor (get a splitter fitting for line and sensor)?
2) Generic oil filter sandwich plate?
Is there any problem I can run into by running my supply line from my sensor? All in all my homemade kit would cost me roughly 60$ to piece together myself. Seem like a good deal for a LSV kit minus the gasket and head studs??
