well is the 92 engine a SOHC also? if so, yes it will work on it, but you'll need to either rewire the 92 vehicle to use an OBD2 distriutor or you need to run a 96-00 integra engine harness, which will work on a 92 Honda civic/integra vehicle.

ok heres the deal the 92 jdm engine is a b16a. I'm using my stock 99 civic dx harness and added the vtec and oil pressure iac etc and rewired the alt wires to obd1. The only problem I have left is the dist. I can't figure out how to rewire my harness obd2b connector to the obd1 dist. my harness dist has 8 wires and the 92 jdm dist has 9 wires... any help would be appreciated thanks

hmm, well i hate wiring. If I were you I'd just find a 96-01 B-series VTEC distributor and call it a day. It will plug n' play onto your DX harness.
