Default dist wiring problems

Ok maybe this is a stupid question but I can't find the answer. I bought a jdm b16a from rcrewracing, had them swap out the dist, alt, and injectors form obd2 ones. I'm using a 99 DX harness with the plugs for VTEC added. The plug coming from the dist has 9 wires and doesn't plug up with my harness. I wouldn't really think much about it but the plug on the old harness has 8 wires so I can't just swap out the plugs. Can anyone offer any help? I figure B-series dist are different but how can I fix this problem? Thanks.
