difference between B16A engines only- in terms of OBD & sensor placement
what exactly is the difference between 1st gen B16a and 2nd gen b16a, b16a2, b16a3, IN TERMS OF OBD AND SENSOR PLACEMENT. Strictly engine (block and head) differences only, thank you.
I might have to buy a 1st gen b16a to put into my 2nd gen b16a del sol, and want to know if i can make the block and head compatible w/ my current obd1 setup.
The engine will be totally torn apart and rebuilt, so while thats being done i can thread parts of it for relocating/adding sensors (like crankshaft position sensor) and such...
so if i can modify the engine itself to up accept the obd1 sensors/locations, can't i just by an OBD1 b16a and essentially make it a 2nd gen b16a?
What differences are there in sensor placement, addition/subtraction of sensors totally between the obd0 and obd1 B16As?
thank you.

thanks. thats the only thing i know. but it can easily be relocated to the obd1 location by just using a water neck that has the switch on it.
theres gotta be other differences within strickly the engine. come on guys.
