Default diff

it appears the axle length is ok afterall. When the car is on the ground and the spindle nut is off we have around 5/8" end play.

The case is stamped showing that the trans is non LSD, which is not what we ordered. It appears to have an LSD in it though, as you can see through the diff and when you turn one wheel the other turns in the same direction.

We are only assuming that the owner in japan put an aftermarket diff in the trans and we're just hearing it when we turn. I have no experience with aftermaket Honda diffs but this sounds a bit much. It sounds like it has a welded diff or spool in it.

hmm
