That's a horrible swap... you should've gone D16... I'll trade you straight up... I have a d16 with 203k miles on it... it runs great.

How come you ask this question are you having problems with the engine in your car?

The Prelude VTEC motor is nice. HondaTuning magazine just featured it on their cover.

id go h22

h22 is cheap.. its new.. not many people have em compared to b series people..

the only real bad thing i know of about the h22 into egs and eks is the ground clearance and the guzzlin of the gas

id stick with the h22..
i also have a d16 i could trade ya if ur not happy lol

keep that h22 since its in there already, and if you hate the understeer, just get a cf hood and relocate the battery to the back and your all set.

Why would you be showing off your H22A swap to people you don't know anyways? That's a real fast way to get your car stolen. An H22A in a EK with minor mods should hit high 13's easy and have lots of torque for daily driving. If it was done correctly you should be loving it and not even care what anyone else thinks. It's definitely one of the best bangs for the buck you can get.

Its good for drag stripe i think... but the motor itself is super heavy, might as well work a lot on weight distribution, cross weight and such..

That first post made me chuckle. D series is the total hotness. Actually I really do love my D series. It hasn't blown up yet.

not so true....
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=684550
read up if you havent already.
and the h22 swap should be very pleasing, and as far as your "ricers" go, they are defineately jealous as Aphelion said. the only thing i have heard that has been negative towards the h22, is that the torque will twist the frame of your car!!!!!!!!!!! (KIDDING!!!)
h22 is an awesome swap, and as long as you are pleased and like the motor then when "ricers" tell you what they have... just give them the "shrug"

H22 is the way to go. I think the only thing that sucks is that there is too much torque and you have to deal with all the tire spin. Also too much torque equates to breaking axles easily.

my god... can't believe this stuff is still being said. super heavy lol

I think most people who say things like this have a B series and just want to convince themselves that H series sucks. Not saying B series sucks, just saying that many B series owners just don't want to like the H series. I don't understand all these weird loyalties people have. If a motor makes good power/torque, its a nice motor in my book. I don't care if its a freaking kia motor, if it does what I want it to. Go to the civic forum and you will see people saying things like "SOHC for life" and what not. Lots of honda people are weird. Its your car, so your opinion is the only one that matters.

Ricers don't know **** about motors. If they did, they wouldn't spend their money on neons, leds, park benches, and body kits. This completely invalidates their opinions on any subject of performance.
