Default DelSol seats vs Type R seats

Are the DelSol seats any lighter in weight than the USDM ITR seats?

I need to make a decision as to which I want in my car.

donno about weight, but the r-seats are more comfy than the del-sol,
more of a tighter fitment, like a tight glove, you know

dude you got a tough choice to make, i have an EF so i would go for the R seats cause they would be more comfortable in my cramped little hatch.......but the sol seats have a style all there own and they sit low....so if you wanna be all stylish go for the sol's but if you want comfort and style go for teh R's

Nah, I don't care about style or comfort...I'm concerned about weight and which will hold my butt in the seat better.

del sols are very supportive around the shoulders, and you will sit an inch lower in del sol seats. plus you can usually get del sol seats for half the price of ITR seats.

even if I had the chance to get either ITR or Del Sol seats for free, I would choose Del Sol seats no question... it sjust for for the support and lower seating.

I have Del Sol seats in my integra, they are wicked. comfy, clean, stylish, perfect fit and most importantly they are very very supportive.

I opted for Sparco Ultras in my civic, they are 12 lbs each and were easily mounted to the oem sliders/floormounts. saves me a lot of weight and the pair of seats were $600 from Erick in the best buy forum .. under Primm motorsports.

Del Sol seats are truly bad-*** in terms of fit and firmness.

ITR seats *look* really nice, but they do not hold you in like the Del Sol seats.

Yes. That's what i wanted to hear! And from the replys, looks like my ITR seats are coming out of my R and going into my 93 hatch. Then, the delsol seats are going into the R. I'm having the delsol seats re-upholstered, so I get to choose material and color. Should look pretty nice I hope.
