Default dc2 H22A engine + passing ref questions

ok since obd1 jdm h22a can be from 92-95 does cali smog ref know about looking at the 3-4 cyclinder to determine the yr or will they let me slide or take my word as a 95? Since my integera is a 95 model i'll be needing same or newer yr of engine??

you want to talk to Jeff at Hybrid Automotive. They specialize in H22 swaps. I know that they have dont more than just a few DC2 H22 swaps as well. They also make sure that all their customer cars can pass the ref, and SMOG and all that.
