i swapping from a z6 to a d15b. what wiring do i have to do to use the stock p28 ecu? are parts hard to find for this motor? and are they about equal power wise?

 

should be plug and play minus the O2 sensor which is one wire on the D15, just swap it with your 4 wire from the D16. Its possibly that your VTEC solenoid for the D15B won't have a pressure switch. Just swap solenoids off your old motor and the rest should be plug and play.

Which D15B do you have? There is a single and a dual vtec solenoid. To do the dual solenoid correctly you'll need to get the ECU for that engine.

 

jdm d15b single vtec is plug and play. everything works minus the o2 sensor like hondapartshero said. Just swap it over from the d16z6.

 

There is a 3 stage D15B with two solenoids. Can you clarify which one you have?
