Default is a d16a1 worth it?

I recently got a good d16a1 for free and i am wondering what it will take to put it into my `90 crx with a si transmission and dx fuel injection. Will it bolt up to my transmission and will there be wireing problems? I do not want to dive into it unless it will be worth my while. Thanx.

well its a d-series so there's not as much aftermarket. especially the d16a1. kind of an oddball engine. u have a d15 in the crx? u might want to tear into the d16a1..the pistons are nice. high dome=high compression. get some new rings for em and drop em into the d15.. if u have a d15 u have tiny rods. i dunno if the d16a1 rods will fit but u might want to see. replace bearings as well. u could get a d16z6/d16y8 vtec head, d16y8 intake mani and b series tb on there and have a nice setup.
