how would that work?

i dont believe there are any oem mounts or even mount kits that will let the engine bolt in. you need to fabricate mounts.

actually come to think of it ive never seen a D in a 90-93 integra.

DA Integras never came with a D series in the US. Even if they did, EF mounts wouldn't work. That would be like saying an entire B swap, including mounts, from a DA Integra would just bolt into an EF.

Even though I should, I won't call you stupid or ignorant.

I've been doin a lil reasearch and would like to ask where the OP got his info on the fact the "DA" chassis integra came equiped with a single cam any where sold. Obviously not here in the states but seriously I understand being different is now being cool but this is no way, shape, or form of being honestly a trend setter. But to each his own I guess and i'l be waiting for some one to send me a link about the single slam teggs.

Australia had DA's with Sohc ZC's. Likely other countries as well. No easy way to make it work here, the transmission side frame mount is located at a different point on those chassiss. You'd have to custom make either the motor mount itself for that side, or brutalize Da shell and weld on a new bracket on the frame that lines up. The rear, and driver sides will work with the EF stuff.
Why do I know this? Broke + D motor+ DA shell = me wasting a bunch of time trying lol.

Fits in DC's alot easier than DA's because the eg/dc share the same mounting points. I've seen it done time after time. Other than bragging rights, and for comic appeal, not worth it at all. Single D's belong in the cars they came in.

ok you can get a d16zc which is a dohc d-series. but in the da it should have a b18b1 in it. unless you bought a shell. also eg and dc counts are the same.

Just because it's do-able doesn't mean it's a good idea.

i've thought of this on some level.
wife was wanting a new car a while back and was looking for a deal on a gsr. which afterwards i would take the motor out for projects and then give her a cheap fuel efficient D for her daily driving.

well i dont agree, im sure u as most people have swapped a b series into a d series car. my other point is da's did come with a d series. just in a diffrent country. i bet over sea's some guys like " hey bud im gonna but a b series in here." and his bud is prob like. "dude just boost this engine" lol we all have our opinions but d series CAN make great inexpensive power.

wow.

1. dont ever let someone talk to you like that.

2. just man up and make mounts.

3. realize the error of your thoughts and buy a proper car.
