ctr's and itr's would put out the same power on certain b18c engines
but the ctr's would put more on the b16's something about its piston speeds.

what about on a ls/vtec bored to 86mm and 12:1 comp.? would it cause the valve to hit the piston?

Vtec pistons have bigger valve reliefs, so the will accomidate higher lift cams. You will be fine mike.

The only difference between ITR and CTR cams is 3 degrees duration on the intake cam.
