Default CRX: HF vs SI?

Will it save time and money if get a Si instead of a HF?. I'm planning to drop a B16a. I heard that with the HF I have to change a lot of stuff for it to fit. I kinna disappointed cuz I bought a HF 2 days ago. I couldn't find any Si in the dallas area. Thanz in advance.

i thought all you have to change were the hubs? and of course the mounts? i thought the wiring is the same... well if it helps you can get the 1 wire set up from zdyne.

don't be disappointed. Putting a b16a in an HF isn't much more work then an Si. It also gives you a good excuse to upgrade those brakes.

dont be dissapointed..
the HF is about 200-300 lbs lighter than an Si, so thats an instant .2 to .3 sec faster
I have an 88 hf and I love it over my 89 Si crx's..

as for wiriing.. Hf and Si are exactly the same. just remember to use the engine harness from the HF when you plug in the b16a or you will have headaches.

you will need to swap out the hubs, just get the ones from an Si, or automatic dx, or better yet, if your gonna lower your car, get a set of hubs from a 90-00 integra, get the whole knuckle assembly, you will upgrade from a 9" to 10.6"!

if you have more questions, email me

hope that helps..
keep your HF, get some black interior from a Dx or Si crx and it'll start to look better...

The wiring is slightly different, you need to cut the wire at B9 on the ECU plug, or the ECU will code every time you put the car in reverse.
