Re: craziest swap ? (95civhb)
I have seen this 85 civic hatchback with a b20(prelude version) in the back making it rear wheel drive and this mess was powered by propane! That thing actually ran too. Thay tried to run it but it could not pass tech or something like that. This was like 8-10 years ago.

It was at the Indy Import drags a few years ago, was trapping over 130whp but I do not have any pics of it. It was posted sometime in the past though.

Re: craziest swap ? (BUBBLE BOY)
There is a company that sells these cars or kits or parts to do it. Talk about power to weight ratio
edit: Now that I think of it I believe the website is minimania.com and they sell you the subframe to mount the motor in it

Z-cars in the UK sell lots of kits for putting superbike engines into cars. they did a twin engined, AWD mini. i think it does 0-60 in like 3 seconds.
definitely my favorite car ever. i don't like the new mini's at all.
of course hondas after that!!

Re: craziest swap ? (hybridmoments)
the one in Mini World magazine is mid engined with an overbored Hayabusa motor. It has 235bhp and does 0-60mph in 2.83 sec, according to the magazine.

Re: craziest swap ? (95civhb)
A long time ago, I saw pics in a magazine of a 80's Porsche Carrera with a Chevy 454 in the back. It looked kinda dumb. The rear window was removed and the tunnel ram intake setup was just sitting in the middle of where the rear window used to be. It was squatting in the back like a german shepard.
There are also a bunch of motorcycles out there with chevy small blocks. Those look really dumb.
