Default couple questions with my 96 ek with b18c1

hey h-t.

im throwing this code and i am not able to hit vtec and even at times my car goes into limp mode where i cant rev past 3500 or somewhere around there. is there anything i can try to look into which could be the possible fix? car was obd2b and i have a jumper harness for p28 obd1 which is chipped. heard it could be the chip or an even worse thing. so im just stuck on what to do lol hmm think thats bout it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YmkIS...ature=youtu.be

ohh also when i am going into second gear i have a pretty bad grind, unless i shift extremely slow, i mean slow. when im normally driving it still grinds, havent raced on it yet since i dont want to **** it up even more. someone said it could be a bent shift fork? readjusting my clutch (brand new stage 1 clutch)? or just my second gear?

any help is appreciated. if its in the wrong place, please direct me the right way. thanks in advance!

if its only grinding in 2nd it might be the 2nd gear synchro. and it looks like your throwing code 20 to me which is ELD i believe

X2 it is a code 20 for ELD. Check under dash fuse 14 or 15? I believe it is

Not positive. It worked on my friends ek. I found out that was a common code when that fuse blew

id try this first. never heard of it but its an easy chip fix. but if not i believe you the eld is integrated into the fuse box and you should try a buddys whole fuse box or pick one up for the same model of your car and see if that helps. you could change just the eld i believ but its easier to just change the whole fuse box. its just a couple bolt and pop the bottom off and unplug everything

hope this helps GL
