Could ECTS be my problem?
Ok, I have made another thread about this already, but I am narrowing down my problem. Please be kind, as I respect any advice that is given to me. I have this hesitation problem, stuttering kind of a thing going on when the car is warmed up. When I turn off the car(after being warm), and turn it back on, it will start up and then die. Then upon trying again it will barely start and idle at 100 rpms for a brief moment. I have replaced the main fuel relay, I have replaced the ignition cables, spark plugs, dizzy cap and rotor. My radiator fan never comes on, so I have to wire it in manually or turn on the ac. The thing that pisses me off the most is that sometimes the idle goes up to 1500 rpms at a stop light, not to mention the fact that it runs lean in closed loop at lot.
Ok, I was reading that the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor might be the cause of all of this. Number one, the radiator fan would never kick on if the sensor didn't reflect it being hot enough too. Number two, I read that the ECTS actually leans or enrichs air/fuel ratio due to temperatures. Has anyone else ever experienced this kind of problem....Any suggestions?
