Default crank sensor question

im doing a gsr in to a 97 ex, keeping the ex hariness. everthing works execpt the crank sensor is a 2 wire form the motor,and the hariness is a 3 wire? the motor is a 2001 so its obd2b, and the hariness is obd2a. would that matter? im at a lose on what to do.

dohc obd2 motors have a 2 wire crank flucuation sensor and the sohc have a 3 wire they add a extra referance voltage wire to the sohc. just get thedohc plug and it will work.
