coolant problems

Default coolant problems

I have a b20 block with a 2000 gsr head..I changed my thermostat and now i think I have air in the coolant system..I was wondering if someone knew where i sould find a bleeder to get the air out of the lines..Or what steps i need to take to fix this problem..thanks in advance

i heard some Type Rs didnt have hte bleed hole/nut...

it should be located on hte back side of the head below the distributor on hte top radiator hose outlet... i think...

unscrew the bleeder and run hte engine for 20 minutes watching hte bubbles of air escape from hte bleeder nut.

keep topping up hte coolant as this happens...

(please ignore this post if you have not got a bleeder nut...)
