convert b16 to b18c5
it is possible too , but maybe more expensive than just getting a B18C5 short block , i have seen one for $1900 , and you could use the Block Riser , but it welds on to the top of the block to increase deck height , i know AEBS uses them on some of there engines (race) , but it could be an alternative.

Dude, that's a serious waste of money.
Just swap out your B16 for a C5, there are many more benefits than just the stroke of the engine.
Just get the short block for 2k from the factory and bolt your B16 head to it. If you want, you can get a port and polish job on the head and it will be just the same as a B18C5, with the exception of the valvetrain of course. It also wont cost you 5k for the C5 swap.
