Common problems with swaps?
I was wondering if there are any common things that people forget to do when swaping a motor because I finished hooking up all the wires and etc on my b16a sir 2 swap and it wont start! I am sure there is something that I missed. One thing I am afraid might be causing a problem is supposidly fuel can separate and turn into water and I think that might have happened because the car has been rotting away for 10 months since the motor was blown....Any ideas or suggestions?

most people forget about grounds and how important they are. About the gas, I would drain the gas tank and fill it up with new gas.
ok with your car, what is it doing? does it crank? doe the CEL go off after two seconds?

Everything is grounded correctly, I am probably gonna try dropping the tank next if i cannot figure out the problem...Yes the motor cranks, but doesn't turn over and start...i suspect it is a problem with wiring because when i turn the key the gauge cluster doesn't light up unless i turn the lights on....

i would check if you have: compression, timing, spark, and fuel. Those are the four things you need for a motor to run.
