my cousin -with a 91 crx si, bought the upgraded "blue series" "oh this fits perfect kit", it was full of little pin holes -had to be completly skimmed with body filler the "free carbon hoods" they offered when buying body kits, my freind called -$150 shipping and they havent been jell coated yet.
vis racing hoods are awesome quality -seen them in person, look into those somewhere
email http://ww.ketronsales.com -he had some hoods on ebay, so i drove over to his house to check them out, they were R1 hoods -awesome quality too.. he's supposed to be opening a shop soon, but got in a truck-load of coilovers, wheels, seats, and hoods while i had dropped by -he notified me of something i didn't even know -01 integra hoods are slightly longer than a 94 hood -i was going to buy it, but it was too long -just $350 for hoods -$450 for rare models..

Hey Darrin,
Man Thanks for the input on the Vis Hoods. I will deffinantly check into it. As for Kentron Sales, I seen his add on ebay last week on some Dropzone Coilovers and I called him. Pretty nice guy.... sorry I forgot his name thought.... I was thinking about buying the Dropzone Coilovers from him and we got to talking about quality of the Coilovers and he actually talked me out of buying them; I thing im going with some American made brands something like Ground Control ......you know...
As for Evans Honda Specialists the guy that ownes the shop is Chuck Evans pretty honest guy but DONT let him do the work on your Head.
I've heard too many horror storys about his work around here. If you are going to have Motor work done around here go to KLR ask for Masson, 865-688-6031 ask for the Import Shop. Buy the parts From EVANS and Let KLR put it together for ya. I did my Install myself; just dont trust anybody else.

Hey darrin, why cant you do it yourself. Just get the tools necessary, and its not hard.
BTW, that fellas name is Mase, I think. I wouldnt have either one of those fellas work on my car.
EDIT: Hey, I can see your car...well for a minute I did, now I see and X. The swap looks clean btw. If I saw your car runnin around, I would have never guessed that it had a DOHC VTEC.

don't particularly have the time to do on my own, never messed with internals, did my header and exhaust, all my sound system and everything,
--rex_dragon call final touch motorsports in Bristol -423-990-6900 -he usually has a hood in the shop waiting for a owner to come pick it up --he;s got a 92-95, and 96+ carbon fiber lip -the vis hoods look amazing -i think he priced me $450 shipped for my gsr -go over and check them out, ketron said $350 shipped -both places hoods looked good -but i don't know how good qaulity is of either one though.

Darrin,
Thanks I'll have to give them a call. BTW I think I would take JeffC advice; Assemble the Head yourself. It's not that diffecult and you can buy a Helms Manuel that will walk you through the steps.
