Re: fuel tank pressure sensor (97hb)
i have a purge solinoid on my fuel rail. so i need a charcoal canister with a purge on it too. I think the 97s don't have a purge on the canister. I see other models have it. weird.

Re: fuel tank pressure sensor (olskodumie)
We need to figure a way to get rid of this code 91. I looked at a wire diagram at the acura dealer and the tank pressure sensor is tied int the same wires ( except for the one that feed the computer) as the tps, taking this I would assume that the ECM needs to see 0-5 volts to think there is a sensor on it? Has any one tried to trick the computer out and had sucess??? I just dont want a CEL after my swap, as nobody would. If any body has any info on what the ECM looks for from this wire ill try to trick the computer on my car and see what happens. So if any one has a integra helms if they could look and see what computer looks for post it here or please IM me

Re: fuel tank pressure sensor (ef ect)
I just notice that the integra and the civic ex has a pressure sensor and the civic dx do not.thats y my p73 ecu is picking up code 91.so does code 91 really effect performance. if not ill probably take the damn cel bulb off. I know is not a good idea but the cel light really bugs

Re: fuel tank pressure sensor (civicdxtyper)
even if you have the canister, which doesn't fit BTW, you will need to make some kind of bracket for it...
You still need the sensor on your gas tank and the hard lines that go with it. You then need to run wires to the sensor on the tank, which is actually the easy part.
And unless you can weld hard lines or fittings to rubber hose to your tank, you will need to replace your entire gas tank. Which is the easier way anyway.
Bottom line, if you aren't prepared to replace your gas tank and ****, you need to go OBD1 or get a JDM ECU. Which basically boils down to if you want to be smog legal or not.
I don't know if code91 puts your ECU in limp mode or not.
