Default code 22.... anybody know how to fix it?

THE SET UP: 94 hatch vx, 97 jdm ITR motor, vx wiring harness (some plugs cut and spliced), jdm obd1 pr3 ecu.
THE PROB: there is no plug on the jdm motor for the vtec pressure. however, there is a plug on the harness. So i just jumped it, re-set the ecu and problem solved. But everythime i drive the car hard the code comes on again, vtec dies and i have to re-set the ecu to get vtec back. Any ideas?

All ya gotta do is splice the VTEC oil pressure positive wire to the VTEC solenoid. As for the ground, ground it to the thermostat ground, and you`re done.

BLU/BLK spliced into GRN/YEL.

I named that the "Kenji connect." He told me about that a few years back and I've used it on 2 swaps with no problems at all. Of course you could change out the solenoid for a USDM or older JDM one that has a pressure switch, but why do that when the wiring is easy and free?

haha, actually that's what I`d call it too, but someone would just say "wtf is that?"

I actually did the swap with a JDM VTEC solenoid as well, but he previously had a US B16A so we just put the US solenoid on there.
