My buddy just put a jdm gen 2 b16a into his 1995 EJ. he is getting a code 19 along with an idle surge from 1,000 to 1,5000. So far, we can only find that a code 19 indicates an automatic transmission lockup, but this is a Manual Transmission, and we think the idle surge is due to a bad iacv. Has anyone else had this problem? we cant find any info that says that the p30 ecu could be from an automatic. any info is appreciated. Thanks
