Default civic/integra shift linkage question

I'm helping a friend with his civic swap 93 LS motor/YS1 cable trans into 98 ek civic.
We used the 93 integra shift linkage but it feels weird like it doesnt go into gear right.
Does anyone know if this is supposed to work or does it need a 94+ integra linkage??
Also I seen the hasport linkage part#EGBLINK it says its custom made to fit EK civics w/ B series motors is this neccesary??

Thanks!

Default Re: civic/integra shift linkage question

you need to use 94-01 integra linkage or Hasport EGBLINK
