Default Check Engine Code 45

I have a friend that did an engine swap with his EK style Coupe. Now, the ECU is said to be Jap Spec. I don't know what that is but it sounds like a GS-R ECU because the Vtec crossover is heard at 4400?? and nothing near 5000. So, I assume that it is. But anyways, it is giving the code 45 he says. Is that possible? I had a OBD 1 ECU and on the maunal, i didn't find that code. If anyone can help this poor soul, please post the code for the 45. Thanks alot peoples.

you need obd2 codes if it's in an EK, unless you pinned back to obd1

Yes, Thanks, but I am not even sure that if it is OBD 2, the person said that it was a computer from japan. I am thinking maybe it might be the same code as the OBD 2 because it fit staright to his OBD 2 Wire harness. Anyone? Thank you.
