CEL PROBLEMS???

I put a b18b(obd1) in my 93 del sol si using the d16z6 wiring harness so I'm left with two extra plugs that are not used (vtec plugs). And then I'm left with extra plugs from where the a/c used to be. My CEL light is on after the swap, all the time, when I jump the plug for codes(and it is being jumped correctly) the cel does not blink, just stays solid. My engine starts fine after I cleaned injectors(also tried d16z6 injectors. How ever it idles high @ 1300 rpms until it hits normal running temp. then it lowers to @900-1000 rpms. It will not rev above 3,000 rpms before cutting out and back fireing. I have checked timing and it seems to be dead on and i have good fire on every cylinder, have double checked all three grounds, connections to ecu, and all connections on wiring harness several times and still cannot figure out whats wrong. Any one have any pointers.
