Okay during my LSVTEC swap last night we ran into a problem, I had to use the TB off of my LS IM because my B16 one had a Vacuum line on it that my LS didnt have, as well as the IM having another vacuum port that the B16 didnt have. Has anyone ran into this problem doing theyre LSVTEC in the 99 TEG w/ a OBDI B16a3. Now I have a CEL and My vtec isnt working, is that just because the CEL is on that vtec wont work??? Please help me

cel code is 21 if that helps, I think thats vtec solenoid but im not sure??

 

have you checked to see that your vtec sol. is good?

 

yes vtec solenoid is good, I checked it w/ constant 12v power and it clicks open and closed, i also ohmed it out and got the correct measurable resistace (18 ohms), So the guy who chipped my ecu (ecuhacker.com) said he thinks it could be the ecu that he chipped for me, but if its not the ecu, anyone know what the hell else it could be, code 21 vtec solenoid can only be so many things right...hahah damn
