Cat. Converter for 99 Coupe with b18c1 and JDM header
If I have a 99 civic with a b18c1 and JDM DC 4-1 Header...would a CTR catalytic converter fit exactly? Thanks!

Do you have the exhaust gasket? I'm talking about the one that fits between the header and the cat.
If your exhaust gasket will not fit against the edge of the cat, then you cannot use the cat despite the length.

I know that I'll need a 2.5in donut gasket...question I'm asking is if anyone knows the length that the cat needs to be

In one of my hatches I have an ITR engine w/ a JDM ITR header on it. You need a custom cat, no USDM ones will work.
IPS Racing can make you a custom high flow cat for your setup. I just ordered one from them yesterday for $175. 1-866-IPS-RCNG
The JDM ITR header is 2.5" and for the gasket, use an S2000 donut. It's 2.5" also.

if you already have the cat you can do what I did. I did not want to hack up lengthen my new exaust so I made an adapter that bolst to the cat and then to the exaust. You can get the 3 hole flanges from JC whitney for $2 each and then get a small lenth of pipe from any local muffler shop. I made mine 3.25" long and it works great. best part is it can be unbolted at anytime if I decide to change things later I can sell my exaust or cat not "modified". Just a thought.
