Car Hesitate while driving. Help ...............................................
1995 Civic DX Coupe
1996 B18C-R
w/ MSD SCI (at least 5 yrs old)
SS Blaster Coil (New)
New Distributor Housing
New Ignitor
New NGK Wires
New Plugs
New MSD Cap
New Rotor
When driving past 4000 RPM the car hesitates and does not Rev smoothly to Redline.
When I past 4000 RPM the tach gets slightly jumpy.
What could it be?
I have check the fuel filter & fuel pressure, they are o.k.
Everyone tells me it's the Ignition, but I have changed almost everything.
I'm going to take out the MSD on Saturday and go back to stock.
Hope it works out.
Anyone else have any ideas??

I have a similar problem, but my ignition is stock except for shitty no-name wires (waiting on NGK blues to arrive this week). Also, mine happens at about 2,500-3,500RPM, it gets a little dodgy.
Bump for you.

Thanks for the bump.
Does MSD kill ignitors (ICM) ?
I have just changed my ignitor and everything was fine for a 1 or 2 days.
Then same problem afterwards.
How long does a ignitor last?
I hope I do not need to replace it again, it's cost me $170.00

Re: Car Hesitate while driving. Help ............................................... (jmk2888)
I took out the MSD system today and went back to stock.
Works like a charm, the car never ran better.
on MSD products, especially the SCI box.
I'm going call MSD on Tuesday and have them repair it for free.
Hopefully after I get it back, I'll sell it on ebay or something.
I'll never trust MSD ever again.
Thanks to all the guys that tried to help me.
