just put my b18c1 back in and it wont even try to turn over all that happens is my fan comes on when i go to turn it over.

another thing where do the ground wires go? i grounded the one off the valve cover but what about the other? and could this be why it wont start?

Are you getting spark and fuel?

 

its like im getting no power to the starter but i tested it and it is getting power

 

Check and make sure all of your ground wires are connected. Make sure that you have the ground wires to the throttle housing connected. Also is your car a standard conversion? I was putting an engine in for a guy and the engine didn't turn right away because you have to engage it in park.

 

the transmission ground? its more important, very thick black wire on top of the tranny, near where the slave cylinder lines mount to the frame

 

it runs!! i guess the ground on the tranny wasnt good so i moved it and it fired right up. thanx for the help

 

If you dont hook up the grounds properly, it will not run or start at all!
