do you think just because it has a diff letter like Z, or B, its going to be a diff motor from the h22a

yes as i said its a facotry repalcement block.
so what you need to do is move to a country where they ahve them.
then blow your h22a1 up.
then go to honda, and have them install a factory replacment engine...it will probably run you around $7000. and it will be the exact smae as you ahve with a Z at the end rather than the a1 or a....

The B16A Sir2 has 170hp, 113tq, and 10:4.1 compression.
And the B16B has 185HP, 117tq, and 10:8.1 compression.
I don't know why honda put "B" On the ctr motor, but the specs...... are different.
This is what I first thought of, which made me wonder.

Yeh but you can turn a b20 to a 2.2... but you can turn a h22 to a 2.4 Like u said bigger displacment... and it has oil squiters and a girdle. Pretty cool they make a H22B and a H22Z.
Yes you can drop that h22 head on a h23 block.
