Can not get my 99 ex with b20 to start. Reaching out for help.
Hello all,
I am new to the forum and so if i am messing up by posting my questions in this thread i do apoligize.
However right now the issue is i have recently swapped my 99 civic ex d16y8 with a b20b but it will only turn over not start. To be honest as far as which version b20 i am not so sure. However it does have a p75 head and a knock sensor if that helps. Right now my build is a b20b engine, a p75 head, a p75-a04 ecu, and a 99 civic ex wiring harness repinned to fit ecu. Here is the diagram I used to repin the ecu connectors. http://technet.ff-squad.com/wiring.obd2a.htm
Again the starter will turn the engine over all day, but that is it. I have checked for spark on each plug and i have spark on all four cylinders. I know that i have fuel going to the rail but not sure how to check injectors. Mechanical timing has been checked and double checked, but not sure if there is a way to adjusted distributer. Compression is even across all cylinders but still only at about 130. I can not get it to do anything other than turnover even with starter fluid. Not even the slightest cough.
So at this point i am lost and would appreciate any assitance.
Brian

If you are referring to the ecu connector wires I am fairly certain that I do. Atleast I have them in the order according to the diagram on link link I posted. I marked each with it the original position and the position it was to be moved to before removing each one just so that if I needed to switch back or double check I could. And since then I have went through all of them again to recheck. So fairly certain they are in the right place according to the information I went by. However if that info is 100 percent accurate I can not say for sure you know.

Did you figure it out? Did you happen to pull the plugs to see what they look like? Any fuel on them?
