can i modify my shift linkage to work with b-series?

Can i make my stock Civic (90 DX) shiftlinkage to work with the b16 that is going in? if so, how?

The hole in the end of the shift stabilizer bar is too small to fit the bushing that goes onto the stabilizer bar mount on the tranny. You can weld it to get it the right length, but you'll need a larger ring on the end to hold the bushing. Easier to just get the right shifter and modify it for length.
