Calling out V-AFC Gurus!!! Need help on tuning for N/A
I just got a D16Z6 engine in my 1991 crx si. im using an msd rpm activated switch to trigger vtec but i dont have any fuel settings in high cam and the pm6 ecu maps are the sux!!
I ordered a v-afc and i was wondering if any had any suggested settings for a more aggressive fuel map for this sohc vtec engine..
thanks guys.

Re: Calling out V-AFC Gurus!!! Need help on tuning for N/A (97exracer)
see thats the thing i dont wanna dyno it i cant afford to dyno yet im going turbo ill dyno it then i just want some half decent settings to use for a month or two on a bone stock engine.
just to have it run similar to a p28 ecu rather than the crapy pm6
no im not wiring to obd1 yet.

on a bone stock engine.
no gains to be had unless you have airflow changes...
but if you are trying to emulate another ECU's maps, then you will only be guessing...
dyno is the only answer

Re: Calling out V-AFC Gurus!!! Need help on tuning for N/A (VTECVillain)
I hit the dyno today on the hatch, I had the vafc tuned to lean with consistant pressure throughout the powerband (no huge pikes or dips). I managed to pull an unbelievable amount of horsepower from the mighty and monstrous stock D16Z6 of about 114 HP with 96 TQ!!! lol, well she's stock for now, so it's basic settings, my peak meets at around 6,000 Rpm's. Anything after that and the torque starts to go down. Swap comming soon.
