1: ok, i dropped a b17a1 with a cable trans into my eg, which, of course, came with a hydro tranny. i did the hasport hydro-cable conversion using my stock slave, but how does the speedo hook up? do i replace the whole unit from my stock d series trany and place it where my b17 tranny has those 2 hoses emerging? and also the reverse light. basically i have two plugs hanging over my tranny from my eg wire harness and no where for them to go. please help me.

on a side note...for anyone else thinking of doing this....dont. i got the hasport kit and the idiots tapped the holes wrong. i had to drill and tap again and use totally different hardware. just another headache.

2: i know everyone says to use a 3rd gen integra mount for the ac. just reassuring myself that it will work with my 2nd gen block and dseries compressor, or do i have to buy the hasport mount for this too? thanks again for the input.

hey why don't yopu just not go through the trouble and sell my you cable gsr tranny and get a hydro.

the tranny is in the car, mounted and bolted to the block. i bought a brand new exedy clutch kit for it and the hasport conversion kit. kinda too late now. besides, the car will hopefully be on the road in the next day or so.

I will trade you my 95 gsr tranny for it and give you a few bucks I am in va so it isn't much work for me to get it there, I can have it to you friday, I have a 90 si with a b16a and the transmissions aren't good but for a few months you would be better off with the hydro one anyway less work and you could sell the conversion.

well if it helps ya out any i just had a cable put in my 94 Ls with the hasport conversion,i think they just ended up using a speed sensor from another 94 LS that was 5spd,speedo works fine now Hasport mount worked fine for my setup.

its nice havin a 5spd again(used to be auto)

my hydro has about 40,000 on it and has all new 3-5 gears and synchros I think it may have a slight grind in 2nd but I will fix that immediatly if you are interested and trade you I have a friend that works for honda as a certified mechanic so he will be doing all the work if you are still interested let my know. I am guessing all of yours are strait also.

third gear has a slight grind, but im sure your friend could fix that too. all the other gears are fine. the only problem is that its still on the car and id still have to buy another clutch kit.

well I'll trade you straight up then since you have a grind anI have one also, you don't need a new clutch the gsr will fit if you had a 90-91 cable then it would not work, in 92 they changed already been there. give me an email or phone number if you are interested to marques@myfam.com
