built ls or gsr??
i have a 94 ls integra. i have 130k on the car now. Im goin to need to do something with the engine soon. i was wondering what hp i could get out of my ls if i rebuilt it with high compression pistons, maybe bore it out, cams etc. i really dont feel like goin through the hassel of finding and dropping in a gsr engine. anybody have a built ls tell me what u have and how much u have spent on it. any thoughts and comments will help! thanks!!
imo is not worth it building ls (all motor ) either go turbo or gsr

the only reason i want to build up my ls is becasue i have 130k miles and want to rebuild it so i might as well build it up to go faster. i really dont want to search for a gsr then have to worry about the tranny and v-tec wiring etc.
you can reuse your LS tranny but the gearing is too wide. as for the wiring, it really isn't that hard. all you have to do is add 2 wires i believe if you have a LS. i wired my gs-r swap into a 94 CX civic and all i added was 3 wires. Knock sensor, VTEC solenoid and the vtec pressure switch. i think LS's came with the knock sensor though but i am not sure.
