Default Bogging Problem - B20B VTEC in EF

Here's what I've got -

1991 Civic SI
B20B
GSR head
P72 computer
Stock cam
B16 transmission with Exedy flywheel
310 cc injectors
Erick's Racing 70mm throttle body
Walbro 255 fuel pump with AEM FPR

Here's my problem -

1st gear, the car pulls really good
Shift into 2nd and the car boggs, if you let off the throttle a little and then gas it again, the bogging goes away.
Same in 3rd and 4th gear.
Car does not have any check engines.

What do you think it could be? Thanks.

Fuel starvation or TPS maybe?

could be the tps.. try calibrating it. or at least check to see if its calibrated.. because with that 70mm tb it could be a possibility..

It only happens at full throttle and no tuning has been done (I have another B20B VTEC Turbo with a stock GSR computer and it runs fine, no bogging whatsoever).

I changed the TPS once already and also changed the throttle body once also. Same problem.

If there's been no tuning done, you're likely really rich with those 310cc injectors and the stock fuel maps of the P72 GSR ECU.

yeah you should try changing your injectors or tuning. but if your going to tune get the wide band o2 sensor and air fuel guage and see how rich you are first just to make sure thats the problem

The car isn't rich. I know that the 310cc injectors are rich, but I'm talking about at full throttle.

The bogging only happens in 2nd gear. First gear full-throttle is fine, you hit redline and shift. The car boggs right away, a second or two later the car is fine again and the car picks up all the way until redline again. No problems with picking up in any other gear and no bogging either.

Sometimes the car will bogg at 7,000 rpm. Normal driving, the car runs perfect.

Brand new distributor, plugs, wires...everything is new.

How do you know its not rich? Unless you have a wideband hooked up you don't know. 310's on a stock ecu WILL RUN RICH.

Get it tuned.
