BLOCK MOUNT QUESTION.
I got my gsr swap out of a car that rolled. the motor seems to be fine and the rest of the car was toast, anyways. Upon trying to install it the first time i realized that hte rear mount was bent slightly and that it was making it hard to install the motor, so i pulled it and replaced it with a good one. Now it appears that the block mount on the drivers side is bent slightly too?? Have you ever heard of such a solid piece being messed up like that? And where can i get a replacement.

Re: BLOCK MOUNT QUESTION. (mattssi)
Anything is possible with a wreck donor car. You are right, that is a pretty solid peice of metal, and to more of a consern, that is a week part of the block.
Take the time and remove it now before investing more time/money into it. Remove the mount bracket, and inspect the block to make sure the threads are not ripped out, etc.
-we do offer the mount bracket needed too, pm us.

Re: BLOCK MOUNT QUESTION. (jdmcars.com)
The block is alright i am sure. as of right now, I am pretty sure that the mount is bent.. I will take pics of it tonight and post it up. It is pretty interesting to look at. at first glance it appeared to be fine, but when putting the motor in the car, I realized that the block mount was bent for sure.
